Recipe Almond Flour Scones

Ingredients :

  • 2 c Almond Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 c dried Sour Cherries or Cranberries
  • 1/4 c Sunflower Seeds
  • 1/4 c Sesame Seeds
  • 1/4 c Pistachios, rough chopped
  • 1 large Egg or substitute
  • 2 tbsp Honey or Agave or Coconut Sugar

Method :
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, combine almond flour, salt and baking soda.
  3. Stir in dried fruit, seeds and nuts.
  4. In a small bowl, combine egg and agave.
  5. Stir wet ingredients into dry. Using your hands, shape dough into a 6.5x6.5 square that is about 3/4” thick. Cut into 16 squares
  6. Bake on a parchment paper lined baking sheet for 8-10 minutes.
  7. *Flax seed egg replacement: combine 1 tablespoon freshly ground flax seeds with 3 tablespoons water and stir together. In a few minutes the water should turn thick and gelatinous
