Ingredients :
- 2 c Almond Flour
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 c dried Sour Cherries or Cranberries
- 1/4 c Sunflower Seeds
- 1/4 c Sesame Seeds
- 1/4 c Pistachios, rough chopped
- 1 large Egg or substitute
- 2 tbsp Honey or Agave or Coconut Sugar
Method :
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large bowl, combine almond flour, salt and baking soda.
- Stir in dried fruit, seeds and nuts.
- In a small bowl, combine egg and agave.
- Stir wet ingredients into dry. Using your hands, shape dough into a 6.5x6.5 square that is about 3/4” thick. Cut into 16 squares
- Bake on a parchment paper lined baking sheet for 8-10 minutes.
- *Flax seed egg replacement: combine 1 tablespoon freshly ground flax seeds with 3 tablespoons water and stir together. In a few minutes the water should turn thick and gelatinous
