Ingredients :
- 1 head cabbage
- 28 ounces diced tomatoes
- 6 large jalapeño peppers
- as needed salt
- 14 ounces canned cornbeef
- 1 cup water
- to taste red wine vinegar
Method :
- Preheat oven 400° Fahrenheit
- Chop the cabbage layer in a 9x13 pan and salt each layer. On top add tomatoes
- Slice jalapeños in half remove ribs and seeds
- Fill each pepper half with cornbeef, use only half of cornbeef, put on top of tomato and cabbage
- Break the rest of the cornbeef up and add randomly. Put into oven for 35 minutes. Add water and return to oven
- Roast for 25 minutes more. Add some red wine vinegar to taste optional. Serve I hope you enjoy!
