Ingredients :
- 6 shallots
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 thumb-size piece Belacan, toasted
- 2 tsp dried small shrimp, fried/roasted
- 5 red chillis
- 1 cayenne peppers
- 1 tomatoes, cut lengthwise
- 1 lime, use the juice
- 1 1/2 tsp sugar (to taste)
- 1/2 tsp salt (to taste)
- Oil for frying
Method :
- Saute shallot, garlic, tomato, red chili and cayenne pepper until all wilted.
- Remove and add Belacan and sugar, then mash/grind until smooth half.
- Add fried shrimp and salt, adjust the taste.
- Stir until well blended, and add the lemon juice.
- Ready to be served.
