Ingredients :
- 2 large red onions
- few sprigs thyme
- 3 dessert spoons sugar
- 7 dessert spoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 pinch salt
Method :
- Heat the olive oil and salt. Slice the onions in thin half moon slices. And the thyme.
- Saute the onion and thyme for a few minutes over a moderate heat
- When the onion has softened
- Put the sugar in a glass
- Add the vinegar
- And when the onion is ready
- Add the sugary vinegar mixture
- Cover and cook really slowly for half an hour or so
- Enjoy!!
