Ingredients :
- 650 g lamb chops
- 6 large onions finely sliced or grated
- 4 clove crushed garlic
- 1 inch piece ginger roughly chopped
- 1/2 tsp Ground Garam masala powder
- 1 tsp Ground Turmeric powder (haldi)
- 2 tbsp Ground Madras Curry powder
- 1 tsp Whole Peppercorn
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 Bay leaf
- 1 tsp salt or to taste
- 1 tbsp tomato puree
- 2 red tomatoes quartered
- 2 Green Chillies sliced
- 1 cup Boiled Water
- 1 cup Fresh Chopped Coriander
Method :
- Add the Madras Curry powder and green chillies and cook for a further 5 min or until the oil separates from the mixture.
- Add the quartered tomatoes and tomato puree and stir and leave to cook for a further 10 min
- Add the boiling water and leave to simmer for 10 min.
- Garnish with the coriander, leave to stand for 5 min and serve with boiled rice or naan.
