Recipe Lamb chop bhuna

Ingredients :

  • 650 g lamb chops
  • 6 large onions finely sliced or grated
  • 4 clove crushed garlic
  • 1 inch piece ginger roughly chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp Ground Turmeric powder (haldi)
  • 2 tbsp Ground Madras Curry powder
  • 1 tsp Whole Peppercorn
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 1 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree
  • 2 red tomatoes quartered
  • 2 Green Chillies sliced
  • 1 cup Boiled Water
  • 1 cup Fresh Chopped Coriander

Method :
  1. Add the Madras Curry powder and green chillies and cook for a further 5 min or until the oil separates from the mixture.
  2. Add the quartered tomatoes and tomato puree and stir and leave to cook for a further 10 min
  3. Add the boiling water and leave to simmer for 10 min.
  4. Garnish with the coriander, leave to stand for 5 min and serve with boiled rice or naan.
