Ingredients :
- 200 g Ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes
- 1 carrot
- 1 corn
- 1 large onion
- Grated cheese
- 1 tablespoon sunflower oil
- 3 tablespoons Tomato puree
- Splash Worchestire sauce
- 1/2 bouillon cube to make 350 ml soup stock
Method :
- Boil 350 ml of water with half a bouillon cube. Even better if you have soup stock. I used vegetable flavour for mine
- Peel potatoes and cut into chunks, then boil in pot. Add sprinkling of salt to water.
- While potatoes are boiling, start dicing carrots fresh corn or canned corn, and onions
- Warm cooking pan and add one tablespoon of oil, I used sunflower oil.
- Add onions and fry for 1 minute then add carrots and corn.
- Add in ground beef, tomato puree and Worchestire sauce. Make sure to get a nice mix of all your ingredients. Now add soup stock. Cover your pan and let simmer
- Preheat oven 180°C. Your potatoes should be ready and you can start mashing them while you leave the meat to simmer 30 min.
- Place meat at bottom of your casserole, top with mashed potato and grate cheese on as a final touch. If you like, you can use your fork to create lines on the potato before topping with cheese
- Cook for 30 min at 180°C. Cheese should be golden brown, enjoy!
