Ingredients :
- 1 cup long grain rice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 4 sprigs fresh dill herbs
- 1 pinch saffron
- Enough water to cover rice up to two inches
Method :
- Add all ingredients except lemon zest and lemon juice. Soak at room temp for 24 hours.
- Drain and save raining water. Add lemon zest and half sprigs of dill to rice, stir and place in a steam basket.
- Add reserved water to the steamer and place the rice to steam for 30 minutes. Once done, turn off steamer and leave rice in it for 20 minutes.
- Add lemon juice and dill while fluffing rice with fork, gently. Its ready to serve.
