Ingredients :

- 3 3/4 pound beef, I used chuck roast
- 4 pounds broccoli
- 10 ounce carrots cut into matchstick sized
- 1/4 cup raw sesame seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 large onion chopped
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic, heaping
- ◆◆◆◆◆ Marinade ◆◆◆◆◆◆
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon white pepper powder
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 cup Chinese black vinegar
- 1/4 cup Shaolxing wine
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- ◆◆◆◆◆ Thickener ◆◆◆◆◆
- 2 tablespoons arrowroot powder
- 1/4 cup water
Method :
- Slice meat into bite sized pieces, put into a big zip lock bag
- Mix 1 tablespoons of salt with ginger and white pepper
- Mix the wine, oil, and vinegar
- Pour over the sliced beef squeeze the air out of bag and seal. Let sit at least 30 minutes
- Heat a pan add beef, marinade, and start browning add onions and mix in well
- Add garlic stir in and cover this will make your liquid
- Cover and Stir fry till beef is done. remove the beef and onion set aside. Add sesame oil to beef and mix well.
- To the juices add the broccoli and carrots mix together well. Cook till broccoli amd carrots are done to your liking
- Toast the sesame seeds in a pan. Use a dry pan and keep the seeds moving about carefully so seeds won"t burn or over toast. Just a bit brown and allowing natural oils to release from the seeds.
- Add sesame seeds on top of stir fry right before serving. Hope you enjoy!
