Ingredients :
- 12 Cups Sugar
- 1 1/4 Cup Corn Starch
- 1 tsp. Nutmeg
- 4 tsp. Cinnamon
- 2 tsp. Salt
- 5 Quarts Water
- 6 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
- 12 qt. Apples, peeled, cored, and chopped.
Method :
- Mix Sugar, corn starch, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt in large stock pot.
- Stir in water and bring to boil over medium heat.
- Add apples and lemon juice, stir well.
- Fill clean jars leaving 1/2 inch head space.
- Wipe rim of each jar and cap
- Process in water bath for 20 minutes.
