Ingredients :
- 5-6 pieces fish - any medium to big fish suitable for frying ( I used black pomfret )
- 2 tbsp Extra hot red chilli powder
- 1 tbsp coriander powder
- 1 tbsp fish masala (use any fish masala you have)
- 1/2 tsp crushed black pepper
- 2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 cup Cilantro leaves
- 1/2 cup mint leaves
- few strands of curry leaves
- 3 tsp Salt or as needed
- 1/2 lemon/lime juice
- 1-2 pearl onions
- Vegetable/Cooking oil needed for frying
Method :
- Take all the ingredients except fish and grind it in the mixer to form a think paste. Add some water if needed .
- Marinate the fish with the spice paste and keep it for an hour or so if possible. You could freeze the marinated fish and use it as later as needed .
- Fry (deep or shallow) the fish in any kind of vegetable oil. I used sunflower oil.
