Ingredients :
- 1 1/2 cup Uncooked macaroni
- 1 1/2 cup Onions
- 3 tbsp Butter or margarine
- 3 tbsp Flour
- 1 3/4 cup Milk
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 cup Cheddar cheese
- 1 cup Sour cream
Method :
- Cook macaroni el Dente and put aside
- Sauté onion in butter until tender
- Blend in flour and salt
- Gradually stir in milk, cook over medium heat stirring until thickened
- Reduce heat to low. Add cheese and sour cream until melted
- Combine sauce and cooked macaroni.Mix well
- Pour in to a 8 or 9 inch square pan and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes
- I usually double this recipe and use a 9x13 inch pan. I also shred more cheese for the top!
