Ingredients :
- 1 lb beef chuck, strip streak, or round (elk or deer highly recommended)
- 1/4 cup low sodium soy souce
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 1/2 tsp grated fresh ginger or 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup green onion thinnly sliced
- 1 cup green/red peppers (1 in squares)
- 2 stalks celery
- 2 tomatoes (wedged)
Method :
- (Optional) Marinate meat in soy sauce for 12 to 24 hours
- Heat wok (or skillet) to med-high and add oil
- Slice meat into thin (1/2 in) strips and sear meat in wok to desired temperature (medium rare recommended)
- Combine choped garlic, soy sauce (if not used in marinade), ginger, onion, pepper, chopped celery, and tomatoes into bowl and mix well
- Lower heat of wok to meduim and add all ingedients including cooked meat
- Cook 3-4 minutes ( just untill vegetables are slightly cooked)
- Best served over egg noodles. Also works with white or brown rice, or over a flour tortilla fajita style
