Ingredients :
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cup flour
- For the meat mixture combine:
- 1 1/2-2 lb ground chicken
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 4 strips bacon diced small
- 1/2 cup minced red onion, or white
- 1/3 cup minced red bell pepper
- 1/4 cup minced celary leaves
- 2 Tbsp minced fresh or dried parsley
- 1 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. celary salt
- 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- For the sauce:
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 3 Tb. butter
- 1/3 cup your favorite wing sauce
- TIP: I recomend Franks Wing Sauce!
Method :
- Combine meat mixture ingredients in a bowl. It will be a sticky mess.
- Heat oil in a large skillet on med. heat
- Place flour on a large plate and roll into 1 inch size balls coating them in the flour.
- Brown the meatballs in the skillet turning them frequently to brown evenly.
- Combine sauce ingredients in crock pot & add meatballs.
- Start crock pot on high stirring meatballs often. Then simmer on low for 2-4 hours.
- Serve with blue cheese dressing & celary sticks. If you like it spicy Franks Red Hot Sauce or extra wing sauce. ENJOY!
