Ingredients :
- 2 tins shredded tuna (in salt water is best)
- 1 tin chopped tomatoes
- 50 g tomato paste (garlic flavour if you have)
- 1 tablespoon mixed herbs
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- Chilli flakes/Nando's Medium Peri Peri (whichever you have)
- 1/2 an onion
- 1 tablespoon oil (for frying)
- 2 cups pasta (any)
Method :
- Chop the onion finely and fry it on a medium heat in a little bit of olive oil for 3 minutes.
- Add the chopped tomatoes and simmer on medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the tomato paste and continue to simmer, stirring occasionally.
- Add the mixed herbs and stir occasionally for 5 minutes.
- Add the tuna and mix it in well, still continuing on a medium heat.
- Add the sugar and mix it in well.
- Add chilli flakes/sauce to taste.
- Cook pasta and allow sauce to simmer on a low heat until pasta is ready.
- Serve and enjoy :)
