Recipe Buttermilk Polenta Bread

Ingredients :

  • 1 stick butter (melted)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup blueberry agave pancake syrup
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup polenta (or coarse cornmeal)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Method :
  1. Preheat oven to 375°.
  2. Combine dry and fluid ingredients separately and mix well, then put it all together in a bowl and mix until fully blended.
  3. Pour batter into a greased baking dish. This recipe will fit into an 8x8" dish.
  4. Bake 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
