Ingredients :
- 1000 gr stone ground white bread flower
- 25 gr Olive oil / butter
- 40 gr brown sugar
- 1 sachet yeast (10 gr)
- 20 gr salt
- 600 gr luke warm water
Method :
- Add all ingredients in a mixing bowl
- Add watet gradually while mixing
- Add oil once mixture is incorporated
- Knead for about 8-10 minutes until rubbery texture
- Cover bowl with cling wrap and a blanket and put in a warm place to rise double its size (about 30 minutes)
- Knead down (about 3 minutes) and put the dough in a well oiled bread pan
- Let it rise again (to the top of the pan)
- Preheat the oven to 200 C (446 F)
- When risen, bake for 30 minutes or until light brown crust and a baking pin is clean
- I have also baked this succesfuly at 180 C (350 F) for 30 minutes
