Ingredients :
- 5 fuji apples per tray
- 5 bananas per tray
Method :
- Fill large bowl halfway with water, add 4 tbs bottled lemon or lime juice to keep the apples whiter than an oxidized brown. Peel and cut apples 1/2" thick. Soak cut apples in lime water. Then drain apples amd place on dehydrater tray. (I have a Nesco Snackmaster dehydrator 60.00 from amazon.com).
- For ripe bananas with brown spots, peel bananas, cut it in half, push your finger into the ends of bananas to separate them into thirds. Place them in dehydrator tray closest to the heat as yhey dry slower than apples.
- Turn dehydrator on at 135 degrees and leave it for 8 hrs , or so until the fruits are dried to your liking. No preservatives or additives. I also did mangos too.
