
Ingredients :
- 6 slices bread
- 2 eggs
- 200 g mozarella or jack cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying
- 100 g sweet corn/ cut vegggies/ Chicken filling as per your choice
- to taste salt/pepper
- a few Toothpicks
Method :
- Take a slice of bread , cut the corners, and flatten the bread by rolling it with a rolling pin (But make sure you don"t flatten it too much)
- Crack the eggs n beat them in a bowl...Now apply this egg wash on the bread (vegetarians can opt milk instead of egg)
- Now put some grated cheese right in the middle of the bread along with your favourite filling....and season it with salt and pepper
- After that just make a small fold from right and left side of bread towards cente next to filling so that the bread doesn"t crumble or open while frying and fold the bread and make a roll
- Take the roll n carefully dip it in egg wash or milk and then roll it in bread crumbs and lock the ends of the roll with a toothpick ...and rest it for 10 mins
- Now deep fry the roll in oil on a low temperature or to keep it healthy bake in the oven at 150 degrees for 10 mins
- Take out the toothpick..cut the roll either in half or in sections jus like sushi....serve with potato wafers and thousand island sauce or hot sauce
