Ingredients :
- 4 chicken breasts
- 4 slices swiss cheese
- 4-8 slices prosciutto
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
Method :
- Preheat Oven to 350 degrees.
- Cut chicken breasts in half and then pound each breast until it is roughly 1/4" thick. (We take a 1 gallon zip lock bag tearing it at the seams and pound the chicken breast in between the plastic.)
- Place the prosciutto over the pounded out chicken breast
- Place the swiss on top of the prosciutto (We cuts outs in half to go the length of the chicken.)
- Roll up the chick (to help keep secure we use toothpicks)
- Make an egg wash station. 1 dish with the flour and salt and pepper mixed. 1 dish with water and egg mixed together. 1 dish with bread crumbs.
- Take each rolled chicken breast through the egg wash station.
- Put on pan and place in a oven for 30-35 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink.
- Place on table. (If you used toothpicks room them. You mouth hurts if you bite one, I promise)
