Recipe Sweet and Hot Glazed Salmon

Ingredients :

  • 1.5 c Apricot Nectar
  • 1/3 c dried Apricots, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp grated fresh Ginger
  • 2 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • Pinch Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ground Cinnamon
  • 1 lb Salmon Filet, skin removed

Method :
  1. Preheat your oven’s broiler to high
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, mix together the apricot nectar, dried apricots, honey, soy, ginger, garlic and cinnamon. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium low & simmer for about 20 minutes, or until reduced by half. Stir occasionally to prevent burning. Remove 1/4 cup of the glaze for basting, set aside remaining
  3. Place the salmon filet on a greased broiling pan, and brush with glaze. Broil 3in from the heat for 4-6 minutes, turn and cook an additional 4-6 minutes. Baste frequently during the last 4 minutes, serve with remaining glaze.
