
Ingredients :
- 1 lb Strip steak
- 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp All purpose seasoning
- 1 Sprinkle black pepper
- 1 Salt to tatse
- 1/2 tsp Brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Butter
Method :
- Preheat over to 400°F
- Season both side of steak with powdered seasoning
- In a heavy bottom skillet or cast iron preferably you can transfer this to the oven
- Add butter and sugar until the sugar starts to caramelize
- Add you steak a brown on bother side for 2 minutes each then transfer to the over for another 15-20 minutes for well done.. 7 minutes for medium rare
- Add to table spoon of water from the pan dripping off the steak with a sprinkle of corn starch to make a gravy
