Recipe Shortcut White Beans and Ham Soup

Ingredients :

• 1 diced medium carrot
• 1/2 diced onion
• Olive oil
• Red pepper flakes
• Minced garlic
• 4 cans northern beans undrained
• 1 Bay leaf
• 1 Goya ham flavored packet
• 1 cup chopped ham or leftover ham

Method :

1. Add olive oil to coat bottom and add diced carrots over med high heat 3 minutes
2. Then add onions red pepper flakes and ham
3. Simmer for few minutes then add undrained beans and seasonings I also add Goya ham packet
4. Add basil leaves and give stir close in simmer for 20/30 minutes
5. Discard basil leaves and enjoy
