Ingredients :
- Onion puree (optional)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 water (to cover onions)
- Bread
- 500 grams self raising flour
- 500 ml low fat plain yoghurt
- 1 packages soup powder (55g), any flavour, I prefer mushroom
- 2 tbsp onion puree (optional)
- bread topping
- 1/4 cup grated cheese (or to taste)
Method :
- To make onion puree: Add onion to small pot, cover with water. Boil until softened and translucent. Drain most of the water, leaving a little water, puree till smooth. Put puree into mason jar, refrigerate.
- To make bread: Mix together, bread ingredients into a sloppy dough. Put into prepared loaf tin. Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake for 1 hour at 180° C
