Recipe My Pepperoni Bolognese Dish

Resep My Pepperoni Bolognese Dish

Ingredients :

  • 5 Pork Sausage or Beef
  • 2 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 large Onion
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 Sweet Pepper
  • 200 g pepperoni Sliced
  • 1 Can Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1 Cup boiling water
  • 1 Chicken stock / bouillon cube
  • 1/4 Cup Red wine
  • 1/4 Cup Red wine
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Pinch Salt
  • 1 Tbsp Tomato Purée
  • 200 g Pasta Shells
  • 100 g Grated Cheese of your choice (On this one I used Mozzerella)

Method :
  1. In a large frying pan heat up the oil
  2. Add the onions fry for 2 minutes
  3. Add the garlic and stir for 30 seconds or garlic will burn taste bitter
  4. Add the bay leaf and basil
  5. Make a well in the centre of the mix and pour in the wine.
  6. Add the pepperoni and stir
  7. Add the canned tomatoes and chicken stock and mix in
  8. Add the peppers, the black pepper and the salt and stir in. Add the tomato purée mix
  9. Turn heat down and simmer for 10 minutes
  10. Boil the pasta while the mix is simmering until very soft
  11. Add the pasta to a greased oven dish, flat along the bottom
  12. Pour over the sausage mixture on top of the pasta
  13. Add to a preheated oven for 30 mins 200C / Gas 7
