
Ingredients :
- 2 stalks broccoli
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup water
- 1 pound cubed cheese
- 1 teaspoon corn starch
- 1 pinch sea salt
- 2 cups bacon bits, low sodium
Method :
- Start by washing your broccoli
- After your broccoli has been sanitized, begin to remove the stem and chop your broccoli until the desired size. Add to a large sauce pan
- Mince your onion and add to broccoli
- Mince your garlic clove then add to onions and broccoli
- Now add all wet ingredients and bring to boil.
- Slowly add cheese until all cheese is melted
- Add your corn starch until it reaches the thickness you desire
- Add bacon bits once soup reaches your desired consistency.
- Let cool for 25 minutes to ensure doneness of the broccoli or the desired tenderness. Serve in a bowl of your choosing.
