Ingredients :
- 1 tbsp active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1 each egg
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 cup Flour
- 1 tbsp butter
Method :
- In a mixing bowl: combine the yeast and water. Mix and let it sit for a few minutes.
- In a separate bowl: combine the egg, sugar, salt, oil, and milk.
- Add the egg mixture to the yeast mixture.
- Add the flour.
- Mix for a few minutes (about 5). The dough will be slightly sticky.
- Place in an oiled bowl. Cover. Let sit for about an hour.
- Place dough on a floured surface. Separate into 8 balls. Place onto oiled cooking sheet.
- Melt the butter and paint onto your buns with a brush.
- Place into an oven at 375°F for 15-18 minutes.
- Let cool. Enjoy! (These buns will last about a week if stored properly.)
