Ingredients :
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1 cup all purpose flour (sifted)
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 can pie filling (21 oz)
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
Method :
- Preheat oven 350 degrees
- Melt butter/margarine and pour into oven safe dish.
- Add all dry ingredients to mixing bowl.
- Mix milk into dry ingredients. Batter may be slightly lumpy.
- Pour batter into center of butter inside baking dish. Do Not Stir!
- Pour can of pie filling over batter.
- Bake for 50 to 60 minutes. Poke holes to test. Let stand for 10 minutes.
