Ingredients :
- 6 chicken pieces
- 1 medium onion
- 2 stock cubes
- 2 litres water
- 4 celery stalks (sliced)
- 1 small carrot (peeled and sliced)
- 3 spring onions (sliced)
- 1 bunch parsley
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- to taste salt
- 75 g pasta, your choice
Method :
- In a pot add the water, chicken pieces, onion, stock cubes and black pepper.
- Bring to the boil, and cook for 15-20 minutes.
- Remove the chicken from the pot. Then when cool enough to handle, remove from the bone. Reserve for later. If needed do add more water at this point and let it boil again.
- Bring to the boil again, add the pasta, and add all the vegetables to the pot apart from the parsley.
- When the vegetables are just about cooked add the chicken back into the pot along with the parsley. Check seasoning is to your taste, add salt if needed.
