
Ingredients :
- 4 Large Potatoes
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 5 cloves chopped garlic
- 200 ml milk
- to taste Salt
- 1.5 tsp Black pepper
- to taste Italian herbs
Method :
- Boil the potatoes with a pinch of salt and bay leafs to infuse the flavour.
- Peel the potatoes when done and chop them into fine pieces.
- Then melt the butter in a sauce pan and add chopped garlic to it.
- When the garlic gets goldenish, add 100ml milk to it.
- Now add the chopped potatoes and mix it with the milk and butter. Then mash the mixture using a potato masher or a spatula.
- When the mixture is mashed properly and thick in texture, add the remaining milk to it.
- Garnish with parsley and thyme.
