Ingredients :
- 1 1/2 lb brussels sprouts
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 3-4 cloves garlic, diced
- to taste salt and pepper
- diced chorizo (optional)
- onion (optional)
Method :
- Clean brussels sprouts by removing outer layer of leaves and trimming stems. Cut each sprout into 1/4" thick slices.
- Heat oil over medium-high heat in a large pan. Add garlic and cook untill softened. If using chorizo and onion add them in now.
- Add sprouts, cook 2 to 3 min. until oil is absorbed.
- During this time sprouts will begin to brown. Turn heat down and cook for about another 5 min., stirring occationally, until sprouts become browned and slightly crispy. Season with salt and pepper.
