Recipe Sauteed Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients :

  • 1 1/2 lb brussels sprouts
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, diced
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • diced chorizo (optional)
  • onion (optional)

Method :
  1. Clean brussels sprouts by removing outer layer of leaves and trimming stems. Cut each sprout into 1/4" thick slices.
  2. Heat oil over medium-high heat in a large pan. Add garlic and cook untill softened. If using chorizo and onion add them in now.
  3. Add sprouts, cook 2 to 3 min. until oil is absorbed.
  4. During this time sprouts will begin to brown. Turn heat down and cook for about another 5 min., stirring occationally, until sprouts become browned and slightly crispy. Season with salt and pepper.
