Ingredients :
- 3-2/3 pounds mock tender roast/ chuck roast
- 1/4 cup meat tenderizer, I used Adolf's brand NO msg
- 2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 stick butter melted
- as needed oak wood
- as needed hickory wood
- as needed HP sauce optional
- 1/3 cup mild vinegar, I used coconut vinegar
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
Method :
- Fire up the grill
- Trim any unwanted silver skin fat and so on....
- Add meat tenderizer and ground black pepper to both sides put into a bag
- Add vinegar and oil. Then squeeze all the air out and seal. Let sit till grill is hot. I used the wood to help flavor it. No charcoal this time.
- Grill on the grill, discard the extra juices in bag
- Turn as often as needed add some of the butter when half way grilled
- At the end add the rest of the butter on top of beef
- Let sit 15 minutes then slice and serve hope you enjoy!
