Ingredients :
- 4 mackerel fillets
- 1/2 onion
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Chopped green onion to garnish
Method :
- Sprinkle the mackerel with salt. Heat some olive oil in a frying pan and cook the fillets for 3-5 minutes on each side.
- While the mackerel is cooking, grate the onion and garlic into a bowl and mix with the soy sauce.
- When one side of the mackerel has cooked (3-5 minutes), turn and fry the other side on the same heat for another 3-5 minutes.
- When the mackerel is golden and crispy, add the onion sauce to the pan with the fish and cook for few minutes.
- Serve, garnishing with chopped green onion.
