Ingredients :
- 500 g white rice
- 300 g white sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 cups coconut milk
Method :
- Wash the rice and put it on the pan.
- Add the coconut milk and pinch of salt
- Leave it in simmer untill the rice get cooked
- Finally add the sugar and let it to boil and becomes thick.
- If you like you can pour it into non stick baking tray and leave it to firm and cut it into pieces and serve. Your typical Sri Lankan breakfast "kiribath" is ready
