Ingredients :
- 1 chicken stock cube
- 1 bunch of parsley
- 100 grams rice
- salt
- 800 ml water (approximately)
- 50 grams butter
- 1 small onion, cut in half
Method :
- In a saucepan add all the ingredients listed. You may choose to add the rice once the liquid starts to boil but for ease I add it all together.
- Bring to the boil and let it cook for about 10-15 minutes.
- Add more water if necessary. If you like more liquid do add more water if you like more of the rice and less of the liquid let it reduce or add more rice at the beginning.
- When it"s cooked remove from the heat, and remove the parsley and discard or you may also choose to leave it in.
- Check the seasoning, add more salt if necessary.
- Let it rest of the heat for 10 minutes serve and enjoy.
