Ingredients :
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3/4 cup soft bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme leaves
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 lb Italian turkey sausage
Method :
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray meatloaf pan or casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium heat and cook onions and bell peppers untill tender, about 5 to 6 min. Add galic and cook for another min. Remove to a bowl and let cool for about 10 min.
- Add bread crumbs, cheese, eggs, basil, oregano, thyme, and pepper to bowl. Mix well
- Add turkey and turckey sausage and mix gently but thoroughly with hands. Form into a round loaf and place into prepared cooking dish
- Bake 55 to 65 min. or intill internal temp. is 165°F. Let stand, covered, for 15min. before slicing.
