
Ingredients :
- 1 kg uncooked prawns, if frozen defrost thoroughly
- Outer skin only of 3-4 large onions
- water
- good amount of sea salt
- dried whole chillies or hot sauce
Method :
- Add all the ingredients to a sauce pan. Add enough water to cover all the prawns. Add a good amount of salt to the water.
- Bring to the boil and cook for 3-6 minutes or until the prawns have all turned pink in colour. You don"t want to over cook them as they will become tough to eat.
- Remove from the boiling pot and let it cool completely. Then serve as you wish and enjoy.
