Ingredients :
- 3 bulbs garlic minced
- 2 slices ginger minced
- 1 package tofu, drained and cubed
- 200 grams ground pork
- 150 ml canola oil
- 1-2 tablespoon dried chili pepper
- 1 tablespoon szechuan peppercorns crushed
- 2 tablespoons hot bean paste
- 200 ml chicken stock
- 15 ml cornstarch mixed with water
Method :
- Heat oil in pan
- Add ginger and fry for 30 seconds, then add garlic and dried peppercorns
- Add the dried chili and ground pork
- When pork is cooked, add the hot bean paste and mix well
- Add the chicken stock and let simmer for a minute. Then add cornstarch mixture and stir
- Add tofu and mix and let simmer for the tofu to absorb flavour
- Taste the sauce and season
