Ingredients :
- 4 small cans tomato paste
- 4-5 large cans tomato sauce
- 3 green peppers diced
- 1 large onion diced
- 4 beefsteak tomatoes cut to desired size
- 1 oregano
- 4 cloves garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp salt
- 2 tsp black pepper
- 3 tsp sugar ( for Italian flavor)
- 3-4 bay leaves
- 2 lb ground italian sausage
Method :
- Combine all ingredients but sausage, simmer covered for 3 hours stirring frequently
- Cook ground sausage and add to sauce about a half hour before sauce is done
