Ingredients :
- 500 g white flour
- 250 ml milk (warm)
- 1 eggs
- 40 g sugar
- 50 g soft butter
- 25 g fresh yeast
Method :
- Add yeast to the warmed milk
- Add sugar, eggs, melted butter and a pinch of salt to the milk.
- Slowly add the flour and knead until a dough
- Set the dough to rise in a warm place, loosely covered in cling film for 1 hour.
- Cut the dough into 40g pieces and roll out
- Add filling (cheese & ham) and make a ball around it with the dough.
- Grease and paper a large round baking tray
- Stuff the balls tightly into the baking tray
- Leave filled balls to rise for another .5 hours.
- Brush lightly with egg yolk and milk.
- Bake in a pre heated oven at 170° for 30 minutes or until brown on top.
