Ingredients :
- 3 cup Flour
- 1 cup White sugar
- 4 tsp Baking powder
- 1 cup Evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup Water
- 2 Extra large eggs
- 2 tsp Vanilla essence
- 1 cup Butter
- cinnamon topping
- 1/2 cup Soft butter
- 1/2 cup Brown sugar
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tbsp Flour
- glaze
- 1 1/2 cup Icing sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla essence
- Fresh cream
Method :
- Preheat oven to 180 Celsius. For the cake sift the dry ingredients together. In a separate bowl beat the wet ingredients. Melt the butter and add it to the dry ingredients along with the wet ingredients. Mix well with a spoon. Pour into large prepared bowl. Set aside while you mix the topping
- For the topping beat the butter, cinnamon, sugar, and vanilla well in processor or with electric beater. Add flour.
- Drop spoonfuls into batter and then using a knife drag it through.
- Bake at 180 for about 45 minutes. Test with cake tester
- Allow to cool slightly
- Mix the glaze using just enough cream to a thick pourable glaze. Dibble over the cake. Set aside for a few minutes to set. Can be served warm or cold.
