Ingredients :
- 1 cube unsalted butter, the better the butter, the better tasting the sauce
- 1/4 c lt brown sugar
- 1/8 c dk brown sugar
- 1/4 c Dutch-processed cocoa
Method :
- Melt the butter and sugars in a 2 qt saucepan on medium high heat until they are ALL COMPLETELY liquid. Stir frequently with a whisk.
- Once small bubbles begin to appear, add the cocoa all at once. Keep whisking at a steady pace until the sauce begins to take on a smooth and shiny appearance. Keep whisking until the small bubbles don"t disappear. Turn off the heat. Let cool.
- Add to the bottom or the top of ice cream, place a small tsp on top of each Flourless Peanut Butter Cookie, etc.
