
Ingredients :
- 1 pack tofu (drain water well and cut into bite sized pieces)
- 10 cm Japanese leek (chopped)
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- *Sauce:
- 2 tbsp *sugar
- 2 tbsp *soy sauce
- 2 tbsp *sake
- 2 tbsp *mirin
- Crushed chili pepper (or shichimi spice powder)
Method :
- Heat the sesame oil in a pan and sear the tofu on both sides until golden brown.
- Add the *Sauce ingredients and bring to a simmer, shaking the pan from time to time and basting the tofu with a spoon until the sauce thickens and glaze the tofu.
- Serve with chopped Japanese leek and crushed chili pepper on top.
