Ingredients :
- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cup carrots sliced
- 1 red onion diced
- 2 cup celery, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tbsp ground thyme
- 2 bay leaves
- 8 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 bag egg noodles
- 2 cup water
Method :
- Place chicken breasts in crock pot. cover with celery, carrots, onions and seasonings.
- Add broth and water.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours (I have gone 8 before)
- Remove chicken and shred. Return chicken to crock pot.
- Add egg noodles.
- Cover and cook for 20 min.
