Ingredients :
- 1 pound ground meat, I used beef, use your favorite
- 2 tablespoons Mexican chocolate
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
- 1-1/2 teaspoon Hungarian paprika
- 1-1/2 tablespoons ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon malt vinegar
- 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro more for garnish
- as needed diced jalapeño I used 1 tablespoon per serving
- as needed sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 3/4 large onion diced
- 2 pounds sliced mushrooms, I used white button mushrooms
- 28 ounces tomato puree
Method :
- Take the mexican chocolate and cut 1 triangle
- Crush the chocolate triangle
- Brown the ground meat add onions
- Add spices
- Stir in well
- Add mushrooms
- Let them simmer 10 minutes
- Add tomato puree
- Add brown sugar and vinegar stir in and simmer
- Simmer 20 minutes
