
Ingredients :
- 1/4 watermelon cubed
- 1 1/2 naartjie/tangerines cleaned, segments cut into halves
- 5-7 strawberries quartered lengthwise
- 2 Tbsp chopped pickled pepperdews / sweet peppers
- 1 1/2 Tbsp finely chopped fresh mint and coriander
- feta
- 1 Tbsp sliced / flaked toasted almonds
Method :
- Combine watermelon, naartjie, strawberries, mint, coriander and pepperdews tossing very lightly.
- Some red chillie flakes can also be added for a nice little kick.
- Top with crumbled feta and toasted almonds.
- Point of note: naartjie otherwise known as mandarine / clementines / tangerines may be substituted by an orange or possibly grapefruit. This will certainly alter the flavour so use per your preference. Also, in terms of quantity 1 rather than 1 1/2 ought to be sufficient.
