Recipe Slow Cooker Sausages and Lentils Casserole

Resep Slow Cooker Sausages and Lentils Casserole

Ingredients :

  • 12 chipolata sausages but it works well with most
  • 3 slices serrano ham chopped
  • 1 dash olive oil
  • 2 chopped onion
  • 1 carrot cubed
  • 1 stalk celery chopped
  • 800 ml chicken stock
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 can chopped tomatoes
  • 75 grams dried lentils
  • 2 sprigs rosemary
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp white wine vinegar

Method :
  1. Brown sausages and ham all over in a frying pan with a bit of oil
  2. Move meat to slow cooker-crockpot. In left over oil sautee vegetables until onion soft.
  3. Add can of tomatoes vinegar rosemary lentils and stock and bring to a boil for รพ minutes without covering. Season to taste.
  4. Move vegetables to the Slow cooker-crockpot cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours
  5. Serve with some green vegetables and-or some nice bread to dunk
