Ingredients :
- 2 lb pastrami sliced
- 1 can sauerkraut
- 1 packages swiss cheese
- 1 cup thousand island dressing
- 1 loaf rye bread (I use Russian)
- 1/4 stick butter
Method :
- On a low heated skillet, lay buttered slices of bread down, butter side down.
- Top each slice with pastrami sauerkraut and Thousand Island dressing.
- Then place a slice of Swiss cheese on each sandwich. Top with another slice of bread buttered on the outside.
- Turn up heat to medium/high. Grill sandwiches on one side until brown then carefully flip.
- Cook on each side until cheese is thoroughly melted and bread is golden brown.
