Ingredients :
- Sauce base
- 8 oz soy sauce
- 2 oz grated fresh ginger
- 1 oz Tabasco
- 6 tbsp brown sugar or to taste
- 1/4 oz water
- 1 1/2 oz honey
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 1/2 oz Dry sherry or rice wine
- thickner
- 1 oz water
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
Method :
- Mix all sauce base ingredient in pot, bring to a simmer till brown sugar desolved.
- Once brown sugar disolved, mix cornstarch with 1 once water to make slurry. Add to the sauce base and stir. Cook low heat till desire thickness, if needed make another slurry ad little a time stirring.
