Recipe Thin and Crispy Pizza Crust version 1

Ingredients :

  • 2 1/2 cups bread flour
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 Tsp sugar
  • 1 Tsp salt
  • 1 package active dry yeast
  • Extra flour and oil

Method :
  1. In a medium bowl mix yeast, sprinkle a little flour, salt, sugar, and add warm water. Push aside and let set for approx. 15 min.
  2. Add vegetable oil and flour and mix with spoon until clumpy. Take over with hands until soft ball forms. Coat with a little vegetable oil, cover with moist towel and set aside for two hours.
  3. Preheat oven to 500 degrees.
  4. Coat dough ball with flour and sprinkle a decent amount on a wide sheet of heavy duty aluminum foil.
  5. Pat dough ball out on foil as flat as you can and take a rolling pin to it until it"s approx. twenty inches in circumference and as thin as cardboard.
  6. Use sixteen inch pizza pan and cut out dough. Use a docker or fork to dock holes all over the prepared dough.
  7. Slide pan under foil and cook for approx. five min. until bubbles start to form all over dough.
  8. Add sauce (see sauce recipe), and favorite toppings.
