Ingredients :
- 2 1/2 cups bread flour
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 Tsp sugar
- 1 Tsp salt
- 1 package active dry yeast
- Extra flour and oil
Method :
- In a medium bowl mix yeast, sprinkle a little flour, salt, sugar, and add warm water. Push aside and let set for approx. 15 min.
- Add vegetable oil and flour and mix with spoon until clumpy. Take over with hands until soft ball forms. Coat with a little vegetable oil, cover with moist towel and set aside for two hours.
- Preheat oven to 500 degrees.
- Coat dough ball with flour and sprinkle a decent amount on a wide sheet of heavy duty aluminum foil.
- Pat dough ball out on foil as flat as you can and take a rolling pin to it until it"s approx. twenty inches in circumference and as thin as cardboard.
- Use sixteen inch pizza pan and cut out dough. Use a docker or fork to dock holes all over the prepared dough.
- Slide pan under foil and cook for approx. five min. until bubbles start to form all over dough.
- Add sauce (see sauce recipe), and favorite toppings.
