Ingredients :
- Steak
- 1 lb Ground beef
- 1 Egg
- 1/4 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Onion powder
- 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 cup Thinly sliced onions
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Gravy
- 2 tbsp Flour
- 1 1/2 cup Beef broth
- 1 tbsp And a splash of cooking sherry
- 1 Salt and pepper
Method :
- Mix together beef, egg, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper, onion and garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce. Form into 8 balls and flatten into patties.
- Heat oil in medium heat. Fry patties and onions about 4 min each side. Remove patties and put on a side.
- Pour flour into onions and beef drippings. Stir. Slowly pour beef broth and cooking sherry in. Stir. Season with salt and pepper. Let simmer for 5 min until gravy is thickened. Return patties to pan, cover and let simmer on low for 15 min.
